I remember Paul in Philly, heuineky nice bloke.
I should have added, I got alcohol poisoning from the pub that night and ended up spewing outside the city library and blocking up toilets for fans and performers of a show I got dragged to that night!

Harry Obeney in Cyprus I had my west shorts on and he came over and spoke to me he played for us 1956-1960 when I got home he sent me some memorabilia including lot's of pics !! lovely bloke.

Worked out in Kentucky about 15 years ago and would go off visiting the various distllaries around the place.On visiting the Makers Mark
plant in Loredo,I bumped into a bloke wearing a 1980 FA Cup Wembley top and again the next week on Lake Cumberland in Tennessee whilst fishing for bass.

I met a bloke in a Philadelphian pub who followed us in 2010 when we were playing Newcastle. The game we lost at home with the goal scorers ironically being Carroll and Nolan.
He has posted on here once or twice. Think he knows s few chaps this side as he liked his casual gear.
I’ll be in that same pub in a few months time, though we’re not playing while I’m out there, so it’s Rangers v Ross County for me.

New Orleans during the Mardi Gras 2002,I had a West Ham wallet.It was in a bar off Royal Street he shouted out come on you irons.
I grew up in Romford turned out he was from Collier Row but moved to Texas,as luck would have it our mrs's got on well.We all Got on it and ended up twisted.
Nice fella,
Bumped into him in the supporters club about five years ago.small world and all that.

Back in the late 90's was in Malta the middle of nowhere waiting for a bus back to town, young bloke pulls up in flash Bmw, points at my shirt and goes im West ham too...interior of his motor was like a shrine to the Hammers...mind you, the cunt didint offer me a lift though!!

If there's anyone out there who lives in CANBERRA, Cooleman Court shopping centre in Weston is the WHU heartland of Oz! Seen quite a few people wearing replica shirts there over the years.

Couple of years ago my bird n me went to Scitland for a few days. Drove to Fort Wiliam to have a look at Ben Nevis and whilst there i asked a bloke and his lady if we could share their table. The woman clicked my (East End) accent straight away and it turned out she went to the same school as my sister and her and the bloke were st holders.
On a similar note my old man lived in Turkey for 10 years and he found a lical bar that showed all our games. Turned out the bar owner had a st in tbe old chicken run stand and he sat 4 rows behind me every other week.

On the bridge walk at Sydney Harbour. The guide was an old Aussie called Bruce (I’m serious). He overheard me asking about seeing the West Ham game. Came over said that was his team - at first I just thought yeah right mate - you after a tip. Until he then started talking about the last time he was over (1976) and started rattling off the names of players - Paddon Taylor Holland etc. Fair fucking play - got his tip and I got a great pic at the top of us doing crossed hammers

Isle of Lewis Stornoway. I went round to the other side of the pub and met another West Ham fan.
Also met another man who was from Lucas Road.
In an island population of around 30 thousand.
